They tried their best, but they went extinct, either dying in the wake of the apocalypse or mutating to a point where they could no longer be called humans or anything even remotely close to natural life. But no matter how strong you or your weapons are, you must still be careful, because death comes quickly, and death means you're going on a one-way trip back to the campfire.Īt some point in the past, humanity messed up. In addition, as you defeat enemies you gain radiation, which allows your character to mutate, gaining new perks as you travel across the wasteland. Every character has different passive and active abilities, ranging from blowing up corpses to spending their own health to spawn allies. Abstractor ( ), who forged the 3D rendering system, and in effect created the possibility of this mod running as well as it does. I probably missed someone, and I also probably missed some credit somewhere, but there was so much help from all sides that it was hard to keep track. This has been worked on for quite a long time, so here are some of the names to thank for help with this project. There isn't much I can say to describe how it feels to play, because it's still the same game but the perspective changes the entire experience. This is a project that started as an attempt to recreate an april fools' prank vlambeer made all the way back when Nuclear Throne was still in early access, but to an extent it's turned into something more.
